    Question singular or plural

    I'm a new member here. I'm very glad to have such a wonderful column for me to ask Englsih questions. Here are my questions. He is the apple of his parent's eye or eyes. He saw his parents' worried look or looks. Thanks!

    Ex: He is the apple of his parents' eye.
    Ex: His saw his parents' worried look.
