    Could you plese tell me how to say in one sentence that I am temporarily living in a house and pay a certain amount of money each month to a person called ladlord.
    Is this correct: " I live on lodgings."

    I live in a rented house.

    Btw, he's the landlord and you're the tenant.

    I rent a house

    You could also have a "landlady"!
