    weather/ climate

Hi, I've got this exercise where you need to find the word that completes the following set of adjectives:
    mild/ hot/ humid / continental........
I've got the key at the back and apparently weather is the only possibility and climate would be incorrect. I really can't see why. Can somebody help me, please?

    Re: weather/ climate

Could it be the adjective weather, the windward side of a ship?

No, I don't think so. Is it possible there is a mistake in the answer key and the actual answer is "climate"?

I agree with you, micaelo, climate is as correct as weather is.
