Is the possessive case right?
I think you can say "The police's uniforms" in which "police" refers a group of people.
You can also say "The police officers' uniforms", in which "police officers" refers to a group of people.
But if you say, "The police officer's uniforms", then you are talking about one particular officer. Is that what you want to say?
