    Question I am confused

    good morning teacher
    I would like to know how to use this and that in questions because I am not sure. for example if I say What is this? I could answer "it is an umbrella" or I have to use "this is an umbrella"

    It'll be better not to point to the umbrella for the second time.
    What's this? It's an umbrella. is more correct.
