easy for me / easy to me

Sometimes the basic propositions such as to and for are difficult to use.

He is nice ( to / for ) me.
The problem is difficult ( to / for) me.
The problem is easy (to / for ) me.
The letter is written (to / for) you.
The present is (to / for) you.
I have something (to / for) you.
You explanation is clear (to / for) me.
The book is interesting (to / for) me.
The book is boring (to / for) me.
It is good (to / for) you.
It is bad ( to / for) you.
I have a solution (to / for) this matter.
It is useful (to / for) you.
This medicine is good (to / for) your health.
This medicine is a cure (to / for) cancer.
    ...

To and for are so confusing that I am afraid to make mistakes when I speak or write without noticing them.
    Would you help me?

The problem is difficut to me.
It is good to me. It depends on what "It" refers to.
It is bad to me. It depends on what "It" refers to.
This medicine is good to you. (Someone is good or bad to you)
This medicine is a cure towards (finding a solution to) cancer.

Hope that helped. Let us know if you have questions.

A bad friend is not good to you.
    Is he ok to you?
Is this pensil ok for you?

What is the difference? Still confusing.

They were correct, siruss, and the reason I didn't send them back to you. I will send all your examples back starting now.

Regular exercise is good for you.
A bad friend is not good to you.
Is he OK to you? Try, for example, Does he sound OK to you?
Is this pencil OK for you?

Which sentences do you find difficult? Please start off slowly. Give me two sentences to compare and contrast for you.

    All the best.

Thanks for making me feel confident.

1 ) How about A bad friend is not good for you? Incorrect?

    2) I've just heard this in an American drama called Medium.
"I'm sorry I did something terrible to you."

    How about this?

Re: easy for me / easy to me

    1) A bad friend is not good for you?

    2) "I'm sorry I did something terrible to you."
(I did something to you; something terrible happened to you)

You could say it with for but a different meaning resuts:

    3) I'm sorry I did something for you.
(I did something instead of you; you didn't get to do it)

    4) Originally I wanted to do something wonderful for you.
(I wanted to do something that would benefit you; do something that would make you happy.)

    All the best.
