    Cool bad spell

Hi, Quotation from the Monty Python's Flying Circus, epsiode 8: "Well he says that moss tends to fall off the cave walls during cold weather. You know you might get a really bad spell and half the moss drops off the cave wall, leaving you cold." Could you please tell me what does "to get a bad spell" mean? Does it refer to the bad weather or to the fact that one works hard (and then the moss drops off..) ?? thank you :)

    Re: bad spell

Can't remember this specific episode, but it undoubtedly is referring to the weather.
