    HELP -teamsters

Beside the standard usage of the word teamster
the driver of a team of horses doing hauling
someone who drives a truck as an occupation

is this word used as a some sort of slang for somebody exhibiting certain characteristics?

    context:

Actress: -They (the producers) didn't laugh. I wasn' funny.
Her friend: - They are teamsters. Nothing's funny to them.

    Re: HELP -teamsters

    .
Hard to tell if it's appropriate for your context, but the Teamsters are a strong union. They are noted for their dour adherence to union regulations.
