    Is word correct?

She reminded me of the purpose of bringing the Gohonzon up to England.
Back home, both my sisters received stern warnings from my mum not to ever call me in England. My youngest sister then thought that my mum wanted to abandon me.
I was feeling very lost and alone.

I believe the word 'abandon' is not appropriate. It should be 'ignore'. Am I right?

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: Is word correct?

I continued to treat all the Chinese students in a friendly disposure despite being given the cold shoulder.

Is 'disposure' correctly used here? Shouldn't it be 'manner'?
