i am glad to tell you that i will join your school in the 1st of september . I am wondering if it is "in the 1st of september" or "on the 1st of september"

If you mean the first day, then "on" is the right word. We use "on" before day.

    Hi
It is "on the 1st of September". "On" is usually used for a specific date and
"in" used for the month or year:
I will join you in September
I will join you in 2007

    Hope that helps
