    Crazy is...

So I was watching an old episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation the other day and one of the characters asked, "You think I'm crazy?" to which an other character answered, "Crazy is as crazy does."

Now, is this some kind of idiom or proverb? Or a quote from someone famous?

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: Crazy is...

It is a variation of the famous sentence from "Forrest Gump" = Stupid is as stupid does = if you do something stupid, then you are stupid.

So > if you do something crazy, then you are crazy.
