    Why without "to"?

I heard my mom say it.
I made my mom say it.
I saw my mom do it.

I heard my mom to say it.
I made my mom to say it.
I saw my mom to do it.

    Why?

    Re: Why without "to"?

Why not? I am afraid there's no real explanation; some verbs take a bare infinitive, others with 'to' and yet other take a gerund.
