    talking terms, feel small

The players have apparently admitted to a complete lack of communication with coach Greg Chappell and according to The Hindu, Tendulkar has not been on talking terms with the coach and most of the other players have chosen the same path.

In fact, the paper quotes a senior player as saying, "He has destroyed the confidence of the team and made everyone insecure. He has been a great player but does it mean he has the right to make others feel small?"

Please explain the group of highlighted words.

[The rest of the team have followed Tendulkar in this behaviour]
