    269-father or his son?

    Hello all

He played the supportive and encouraging foster father of a young boy who had an imaginary friend.

In this sentence, is the boy a foster or his father?

    Thanks all

    Matilda

'to foster' means to bring up a child with parental care. The foster father brings up the child even though he is not his father.

It is both, Matilda. The boy has a foster father, and the man has a foster son.
