    Never mind?

I'd like to know the usage of "never mind".

If someone tells me " Thank you for your help",

can I respond to it by saying "never mind"?

    Thank you

Never mind means forget it or nothing.

    Red face Re: Never mind?

    A. He was very rude to me, I am not going to speak to him again!
    B. Never mind, he is just an idiot!

    "Never mind" means "don't worry".

    A I'm sorry, I forgot your book.
B Never mind, I didn't need it today.

I would never say "never mind" to "thanks".

Maybe I would say "no problem".
    You're welcome.
    My pleasure.
    That's okay.

    Hope this helps,
