    Smile a phrase

    Dear experts,
could you think of a colloqual phrase or sentence meaning:"You have no choice but to put up with this loss." It must be a colloqual phrase or an idiom. Thank you in advance.

    Re: a phrase

    From American Idiom dictionary:

    a bitter pill to swallow
an unpleasant fact that has to be accepted.

    Example:

"We found his deception a bitter pill to swallow."

Lump it (very colloquial) "You will just have to lump it."

Grin and bear it "You will have to grin and bear it."

Grit your teeth "Grit your teeth and carry on."

Live with it "He had to learn to live with it."

Take it on the chin "He took it on the chin and didn't complain."
