    It's not easy. I firmly believe that you can only learn a language by becoming child-like - and playing with sounds and patterns, repeating things chorally (as in a playground skipping chant), being prepared to make mistakes and learn from them. Some adults don't like 'just games' (although they can get really committed to a game once they're warmed up), so it's important to let them know there's a point to a seemingly mindless game.
