    is the sentence correct?

    hi,

" If left unattended, other adult ostriches may roll the eggs form the nest and even enjoy them as a snack."

    Is the sentence correct?
I mean is there any problem about the reference of the subject of " If left unattended" clause? shouldn't the main clause start with "the eggs?"

    thanks

    paula

    Re: is the sentence correct?

You are right; there is a problem with the first part of the sentence.

It should read something like, 'If the eggs are left unattended, other adult ostriches may roll (them)(the eggs) from the nest and even enjoy them as a snack.'
