What is the meaning of "understandably so"?
This needs a context to have a complete meaning. "Understandably so" always goes after a preceding part of the sentence, for example:
She was angry and understandably so, because she doesn’t want anyone to go hungry,”
This means her anger is understandable. Or the fact that "she was angry" is understandable. "so" refers to the meaning of the first part of the sentence.
