    concentrave on your teacher

I am not sure if the following sentneces are acceptable. If you see any problems, let me have your comments. Thanks.

To get a good grade on the exam, first you have concentrate on your teacher becaue teachers emphasize important ideas and they present them in giving a test.

bosun - watch your typing - some of your mistakes seem to be from rushing too much.

Also, you might change it a little:

"...concentrate on what your teacher is saying..."

(By the way, I'm not sure what "they present them in giving a test" is intended to convey do you mean that the teachers are likely to include the things they've emphasized in the test?)
