    If " though and although" are not different . How can I choose the correct one ? Sometimes in the novel they use though or although.
    For example:.....he wore the rank of captain in the Army of the Republic of Vietnam,my father' job was being an educator.

    .......Eastern and Latin rite churches agreed on the substance of Catholic teaching, their rituals and laws brooked many differences.

    In two sentences "though and although" can be used.
