get up or getting up ?

    Hi

My father made me get up / getting up early on Saturdays.

In my opinion "getting up" is the correct answer because this means that the action takes place every Saturday. If I chose "get up" the sentence should sound : My father made me get up early on Saturday [ last Saturday]. Is my choice correct?

Thank you very much in advance
