    Please be noted that...

    Dear Sirs,

    Concerning the above usage, my boss and I had a long discussion. He insisted that "please be noted that..." is not correct grammatically. What's your opinion?

    Sorry Jack, your boss is right. "Please note that..." is correct (it's both an active statement and an imperative) Perhaps you are confusing it with "Let it be noted that..."
