    Adverb or Adjective

    Someone wrote in today's newspaper that goes, "She always asks people the most inappropriately personal questions." I think the correct form should be "the most inappropriate personal questions." Please advise. Thank you.

    Both is possible:

    the most inappropriate personal questions: questions are (a) most inappropriate and (b) personal.

    the most inappropriately personal questions: questions are personal in a most inappropriate manner.
