    Aiyo! Need helps again!

[My professor has been informed of my application; he would be delighted to provide information upon request.]

I am confused of the tenses here. The first sentence is present perfect tense. The second sentence is related to the first sentence, so I put a colon mark. Now, do I need to change the second sentence to "will be delighted" as present... what tense? Thank you so much.

    Why not:

"My professor has been informed of my application and he would be delighted to provide (the/any?) information upon request."

I think using a coordinating conjunction would do here.

    Hope this helps.
