    What do you think of this short dialogue?

    Please read the below short dialogue.

    W: You never flush the toilet.
    M: Did I hurt your feelings?

    Do you think man's reponse sounds awkward?

    If so, could you please explain to me why?

    this is funny...Yes, quite awkward. It would be an odd context that not flushing the toilet would hurt someone's feelings (as it is not usually that kind of emotional situation). It might annoy or irritate someone though, so I might respond with:
    Sorry about that (TO APOLOGIZE)
    OR
    Does it bother/bug/annoy you? (LIKE YOUR QUESTION ABOVE)
