    prepares / prepared

Mary, my maid who worked for us last year, prepares / prepared delicious food for us every day.

Should ‘prepares’ or ‘prepared’ be used?

    Thanks.

If she still prepares food, use the present form, otherwise the simple past form.
My wife does not work for me still she prepares food for me.
