    i just want to ask about something, please......
    this example"stay away from the running water"is about present participle adjective....it is correct,is not it?
    if i want to change the same example to be about the past participle adjective ....how?and what is the different between the present and past participle adjectives?

    You're correct. In the sentence you provided running is a present participle in form and an adjective in function:

    Stay away from the running water.

    The past participle run doesn't work in that context.
