    Confused

    Dear teacher,
in one lyrics there I found:
    "... if I would have went ..."
Should it not be "if I had went"?
Is it correct or is it just a spoken language?
    Thank you for your answer.

Such lyrics are full of mistakes. It should be "If I had gone"
