    Summer turns to high

An REM song goes like "summer turns to high".

Does it mean that it is the hottest in the summer? Can we also say winter turns to high?

    Thank you

    Re: Summer turns to high

It does mean that summer is hot. [The mercury in the thermometer is going up]

You couldn't say winter turns to high - Winter sinks to low would be the reverse [the mercury in the thermometer is going down]
