    tag questions

    He ought to drive more carefully, ........ he?
    Can't we use oughtn't?
    This isn't a very complicated problem, is ......?
    And if in place of "this" we have "that" what pronoun do we use?

    You've written several times that you are a native speaker of English. However, to be perfectly honest, I'm finding it increasingly difficult to believe that. Out of curiosity, which dialect of English is your native language?

    In American English, it would be very unusual to hear "oughtn't he" as a tag question. Instead, this sentence would be much more typical:

    He should drive more carefully, shouldn't he?

    Regarding the other two sentences, using 'it' is fine for both, but the tag question should not be negative!
