Hi,Casiopea.
Thank you very much.
Your reply is very clear and helpful.
So because I am still in the school now,
I should use I am majoring in/ My major is..is it?

In fact, I've written a letter of motivation."major" is in one sentence of the letter.
May I ask u to have a look at the letter to see if there's any problem in English?

Right. You could also use, "I am a ____ major"; e.g., I am an English major.

You could drop it into the Editing and Writing Forum. ;-)

All the best. :-D
