    Who is/are online

In a forum, do we say, "Who is online" or "Who are online"?

In other words, Who is/are online

    Harry Smith
    Casiopea
    Andrew
    Yoong Liat

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Harry

    Thanks for your reply.

    Who is online

    Harry Smith
    Casiopea
    Andrew
    Yoong Liat

Just to confirm: Who is online is correct. No matter how many people are on line, it should be "Who is online."

    Best regards

If I am certain there is more than one person at the door, do I say "Who is at the door?" or "Who are at the door?"

    Thank you in advance.
