    is the adverb correctly placed?

    Hi

    If only you hadn`t made too much noise at the party, we would now be in good terms with our neighbours, /or we would be now...

    Which is correct? Shall I use "...would now be..." to emphasize the time ?

    or : If only you hadn`t made too much noise at the party, we would be in good terms with our neighbours now. {?}

    Thank you very much

    "on good terms"

    If only you hadn`t made too much noise at the party, we would now be on good terms with our neighbours

    If only you hadn`t made too much noise at the party, we would be on good terms with our neighbours now

    Either is acceptable, but the second is more fluent.
