    seeking an englisg expression...

    I am seeking an expression to imply this:

    I am talking, for instance, with a coleague of mine and we have a little disputes over, lets say, procedures at work. We are looking for a compromise and he offer solution. I reply in shock: "Nothing can be worse than that!!! Its maximum you can be allowed to.
    The key expression is bold. How else can i utter that? Any idea?

    Hope my question was intelligilible.

    You are presumably trying not to offend your colleague.

    Let's look at the consequences of your method. There could be an even better way.
