    deadline or due date

Which does sound more natural ?

    1. I am sorry to say that I can't submit the report by the date you designated Aug, 10.

    2. I am sorry to say that I can't submit the report by deadline of Aug 10.

    3. I am sorry to say that I can't submit the report by due date of Aug 10.

    Re: deadline or due date

    Hello,

I would use the first one:

"I am sorry to say that I can't submit the report by the date you designated Aug, 10."
