    Half again

    China’s ratio of imports to GDP is half again as high as that of India.

    Half again. To me, I think China's ratio is one and half as high as that of India. Is that right? I cannot think it's only half. You just cannot find "half again" in a dictionary.

    You are right; "half again as high" means one and a half times as high as.....".
