    correct verb / word?

I think that would be a good idea. It's obvious that Coleman's days of competing with the best are over, and with that go / goes the phat paychecks that he used to rake in.

Should 'go' or 'goes' be used? Is 'phat' correctly used here? If so, does it mean 'fat paychecks'?

    Thanks in advance.

Firstly - I don't know a word "phat" - it is either a misspelling of "fat" or initials for something (in which case it ought to be capitalized!] or a misspelling of "what". I will take it that the word should be "fat".

I would select "go" - The fat paychecks go with Coleman's days of competing with the best, which are now over.
