    When you are emailing, you can pour your heart out on the screen. You are not actually seeing or hearling the other person react, and so you let more of it out.

    What does and so mean?
    I think it refers to your heart. Correct?

    Getting email from home is good for the college freshman's mind. It provides students with some sense of stability while they are creating new identies.

    What while here mean? when or being used to contrast two things?
