I have tried to teach a student the difference between how much and how many? He is not getting it. I even taught count and non-count nouns and related the two. He seemed to understand it in class but not on the multiple choice homework. Any advice?
First i would make sure that he understands what is countable and uncountable, give him some nouns and ask him to classify them in C and in U.
If he seems to understand in class then i guess you should give him extra material to practise until he gets it.
