    Hello!

    Hi teachers,

I've been wondering if there could be a word in English for "inaway(in-a-wahy). This is a Filipino word.

We use it like this: a person was angry at me and we fought though I didn't do anything bad against him or I didn't even feel bad about him. Perhaps he was annoyed by what I'm doing or what I said and he ______ me. "quarrel" cannot be the word for quarrel involves two persons in dispute. In "inaway" only one person gets angry and he may say harsh words to me or even hit me.

ex. (in Filipino) "Inaway" ako(me) ni(by) Peter.

Is there a word in English that I could use this pattern:

    Peter _______ me.
