    Question seedy twist

    "It all began two months ago, when the only witness to not have turned hostile, approached NDTV after watching a news report on the seedy twists and turns of the BMW (accident) case." Please explain the meaning of seedy in the above text.

    In this context, "seedy" means sordid or squalid with an implication that it is morally unacceptable
