    Why can't we say?

    Hello teachers,
Please help me with an question.
Why can't we say " I enjoyed my time." although we can say " I enjoyed my holidays."?
Thank you in advance for your answer.

    Re: Why can't we say?

You can, with the right context:

Q How was it at the holiday camp/beach?
A I enjoyed my time [there]

Something to qualify the statement is desirable. On its own it implies "I enjoyed my life".

Thank you for your answer. I don't understand the above sentences. Could you explain them to me please?
    Thank you.
