feel like (doing) somethng [phrasal verb] = be willing to do something, or want something:
I feel like dancing tonight. = I want to dance tonight.
I feel like a cup of coffee.
feel like something [linking verb] = to give the impression or feeling that something is something else:
The clock struck 9 but it felt like midnight.
This jacket feels like velvet, not cotton.
feel as if/though + clause [linking verb] = to get the impression or feeling that something is or was true:
I felt as if something like a needle had stung me on the head.
Nice work! Good for you!
