    adverbial nature?

    Hello

He arrived home (without any physical injuries).
Is it correct if I say:
How did he arrive? Without any physical injuries.
How? In such a way ... or ... so that he was safe and sound.
If not, please correct me. Thanks.

    Re: adverbial nature?

How implies manner, whereas the phrase without [having] any physical injuries describes the man, so try the verb DO:

A: Did you arrive with any physical injuries?
B: No, he arrived without any.
