    correct expression

    Hi,

    could you please tell me whether it is possible to say "capacity expansion" when talking of the "capacity of employees"?

    By "capacity" you mean the # of people (employees) or their ability to do the job?

    Maybe it could be:

    "increasing the number of human resources"

    But isnīt there a more simple way to say this?

    If it's what you mean it's what you should say. (Number of employees is more easily understood than capacity of employees.)

    'workforce' is a collective noun, the whole bunch of workers there are. So, workforce capacity could mean the maximum number of workers that can be employed in a factory and so on.
