    How to know the stressed word in a sentence

    I need help: how can i know the intonation in a sentence cause i heard that do not focus on pronouncing each word but focus on the stressed words in each sentence.

    We stress the most important words, so often auxiliary verbs, articles, prepositions, etc, become unstressed.
