    Re: pardon

What did you say? as in Come again? I can't believe you said that. This expression takes the literal meaning of the phrase--return--to ask someone to repeat a statement, either because it wasn't heard clearly or because its truth is being questioned.

So, when something wasn't heard clearly:
    Pardon?
    Say what?
    How's that?
    Come again?
    Sorry?
    Eh?
    Ah?
    What?
    Oi?
    Again?

    And more.....

    Does that help?

    Re: pardon

This is very useful ! ( can I put exclimation mark at the end of that sentence or it would sound like an offence ?)

Acually, I'm not good at punctuation at all.

    This is very useful!

Note, there isn't a space before the punctuation mark:

    Ex: ...like an offence?

Thank you Casiopea for you clarification, you're so kind.
But, you didn't tell me how I can improve my punctuation skills
    How can I improve it?

    Thanks in advance.
