    Hi

"Wife" is only a noun whose plural form is "wives". It cannot be a verb.
"To marry" , "to get married" -verbs or, even : to get a wife

    Hi Noussa

Thank you. The truth is I have never heard "wife" used as a verb. If "wife" proved to be a verb yet, then everything I`ve been taught and have taught my students would be a total failure.

    Regards

    Re: It is a verb

Actually, as a slang, it could be a verb meaning marry a woman ('he was dreaming of wifing me').
