    News from nowhere

A couple of years ago,I discovered the amazing writer- politician and artist William MORRIS and read his News from Nowhere.
I studied other utopian visionaries ( T MORE or BACON ) but MORRIS sounds particular and his theories, turned into gentle poems and adorned prose, are so
    inviting.
If someone had an opinion on this author and his works, I would appreciate knowing it.

I'm afraid I know his wallpaper better than his writing.

I've just popped off and read a few of his poems. They would work better at readings than they do on the page; they seem made to read aloud.

Sadly, Hyde Park Corner is just full of political and religious extremists arguing nowadays; it used to be interesting.

When I got there on sight-seeing with my honey in November last year, there was not a soul there but empty deckchairs and hopping birds. What a marvellous park!!! I sensed the fresh air of freedom there, relaxed and comfortable. What a wonderful experience! However, I had been coming down with a flu when getting in and out of the stuffy underground.
